Here are the results of my analysis of search queries in Austria for May 2020:
About +1000% MoM difference received query: “father’s day celebration”. It might indicate, that many people want to know, how to celebrate this remarkable day.
The next search is more practically oriented. The query “barbershop” received about +550% more search volume than the month before. After weeks of lockdown people in Austrian finally could get their hair cut done.
The last MoM difference (+4300%) I picked up, is not a big surprise – the query “spacex start”. I just guess many just wanted to watch it live.
Analyzing queries can help us to understand the society we are living in more, then we can imagine. It is a great way to generate new insights and adjust the message of your marketing campaigns.
